The website of music composer and vocalist David Huizenga

I have written music for Bill Kurtis and Kurtis Productions for the last 20 years, beginning with the Emmy Award winning “The New Explorers” on WBBM -TV in Chicago in 1987. It then ran on PBS from 1990-1995. This was a science and nature type program in the style of National Geographic. Along with composing the score, I was also the location sound man for that series, taking me around the world (several times) from The Amazon to the Serengeti. Back home, I would then handle the post-production; original music, sound editing and design, and mixing.
